The second Libya Aviation Forum and Expo will be held in Tripoli from 6 to 8 November

The second Libya Aviation Forum and Expo will be held in Tripoli from 6 to 8 November, event organisers Hormuz Tours & Events confirmed to Libya Herald.

The inaugural event was a success with major companies from Algeria, Tunisia, and Lithuania participating, Hormuz said. Government bodies were present, mainly the Ministry of Transport, the Libyan Civil Aviation and the Airport Authority.

Speakers from the private and public sector were prominent and discussed the current status of the commercial aviation sector and made proposals for development and progress.

Libyan Insurance Company was a major sponsor and contributor to the speaker session. Speakers from the USA and South Africa were in attendance and presented analysis and blueprints for reviving the sector, Hormuz said.

Libya Herald is a media sponsor of the event.
