The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals for Public Affairs, Production Affairs and Industrial Zones, Mustafa Al-Samu, met with representatives of some Chinese companies, the Ministry reported today.

The meeting dealt with companies’ work mechanisms and how to start working inside Libya and create partnerships with the public and private sectors.

The Undersecretary confirmed Libya’s readiness for the return of Chinese companies, like the return of several other foreign companies now operating in more than one field.
Restoring life to the industrial sector
The Ministry said the meeting with representatives of Chinese companies comes within the framework of its plan within the present government’s ‘‘Return to Life’’ initiative to restore life to the industrial sector by attracting companies, local banks and foreign companies.
