The Administrative Department of the South Tripoli Appeals Court today rejected the request submitted by former chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, regarding his exemption from his duties as head of the NOC.
However, Sanalla has not given up the cause. He was quoted by various Libyan media outlets saying ‘‘The decision of the South Tripoli Court of Appeal concluded in the request of the lawyer appointed by me to reject, with its approval of accepting the case in form, and its acknowledgment of our capacity as appellants and on the condition of interest in the appeal.
We welcome the court’s decision today and await the court’s ruling on the subject matter of the case in its entirety, which will express the whole truth, supported by facts and reasons.’’
