Libya Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Technologies: Misrata, October 2022

The Libya International Exhibition of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technologies will be held in Misrata in October 2022.

The exhibition will include various local and international companies in the field, alongside panel discussion sessions to introduce the latest technologies and developments in the field to the citizens, investors, and decision-makers in Libya.

The aim is to contribute to the rationalisation of energy consumption or the use of alternative sources of oil and gas in order to alleviate the burden on citizens and support alternative solutions during the current stage that the country is going through.

The Renewable Energy Authority of Libya, in cooperation with the Renewable Energy Centre-Misrata University, said they seek through this exhibition to:

1- Spread the culture of rationalizing of consumption and energy saving, also introducing the citizen to the efficiency of the new technologies for the efficient use of energy.

2- Urging individuals and institutions to use renewable energy technologies in areas of daily life through the recognition of these technologies and the reassurance of its reliability.

3- Encouraging the private sector and businessmen to invest in the field of sustainable energies and linking them with their counterparts working in the field in the other countries.

4- Placing decision makers in Libya at the centre of the event to know the technical development in the field, and to make them aware of their role at this stage in particular, as well as introducing local institutions and companies working in the field and linking them to the relevant universities and research centres.
