The Renewable Energies Centre of Misrata University reported Wednesday that it had installed three test solar lighting systems on Sana Street, Misrata.
The three prototypes were from three different manufacturers. The installation is for the purpose of testing and selecting the most appropriate type for the city’s solar lighting project.
The Renewable Energies Centre said the installation was conducted by its team and the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL). It comes within the framework of its advisory role, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
