Tripoli, 19 January 2022:
Libya is preparing to hold the second edition of the ‘‘Made in Libya’’ exhibition in Niamey, the capital of Niger.
The news was confirmed on the back of preparatory meetings last week by the Privatisation and Investment Board (PIB) which included the Minister of Labour, the Libya Industry Union, the Libya Export Promotion Centre, and several business leaders.
The PIB reported that the attendees discussed several important and common files and issues, such as organizing and activating transit trade, and stimulating free and border zones.
Discussions and consultations were also held to prepare for the ‘‘Made in Libya’’ exhibition in Niger, aimed at introducing and promoting Libyan products and industries, as well as commercial agents to stimulate and revive transit trade from Libya to the African depth, as well as contributing to the recovery and establishment of strategic projects in Libya and opening African markets to it.
‘‘Made in Libya 1’’
It will be recalled that Libya held the first edition of its ‘‘Made in Libya’’ exhibition in the Tunisian capital in November last year. The event was considered by the Libyan authorities to be a success.
