The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abuhisa, discussed at his Tripoli headquarters with a delegation from the Turkish ‘‘Al-Infitah Company’’ working in the field of mining and the cement industry, steps for establishing a cement factory.
The meeting, which took place in the presence of the Director General of the National Mining Corporation, discussed the executive mechanisms for establishing a cement factory with a minimum production capacity of 2.5 million tons per year, in partnership with Al-Nisr Company for Cement Industry, a subsidiary of Lidco.
The Minister affirmed his full support for this project and similar strategic industrial projects that contribute to supporting the national economy and opening a job market for young jobseekers.
