London, 25 August 2021:

Libya’s Ministry of Oil and Gas commended Zueitina Oil Company and its Zalla oil field operators for restarting the surface equipment and separators in the oil field. The Ministry said that this marks the return of the field’s production soon. The oilfield had been sabotaged since the 2011 revolution.

The Oil Ministry saluted Zueitina’s personnel as an asset for overcoming various difficulties and proving to all that they can operate the field successfully without relying on foreign personnel.

The Ministry said this was a great step which should lead to other steps to come to restore production in Al-Hakim, Al-Radaa and Al-Sabah fields.
