‎The Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel Sadig, held two separate meetings with the Head of the EU Delegation to Libya, Nicolas Orlando, and the German Ambassador to Libya, Ralf Tarraf, where ‎‎they discussed the prospects of cooperation in the fields of energy and energy transition.‎

‎During the two meetings, the Minister praised the Energy Generation Initiative and its events such as the National Energy Exhibition and the Libya Conference for a Just and Sustainable Energy Transition. He considered these successes important momentum for cooperation with European partners, while stressing the importance of smart and sustainable investment to ensure the diversification of the energy mix and increase reliance on renewable energies.‎
