Benghazi, 26 February 2017:
Tobruk airport has been closed because the Brega fuel depot had been blocked by young people demanding work.
Without access to aviation spirit the airport is unable to refuel aircraft.
Tobruk International general director Hasan Halil said that the airport was obliged to suspend operations until the stand off with the job-seekers had been settled.
It is unclear how many flights have so far been affected and if they have all been redirected to Labraq. There has been no comment so far from Brega Oil.
