Tunis, 1 December 2015:
Three days after embarking on his 150-kilometre Peace Run, Abdulsalam Al-Busayri arrived today at his destination, . . .[restrict]Sebha.
Busayri set out from his home at Ghurayfa, outside Obari in an effort to draw attention to the lack of security in the south of the country.
He said that his slogan for his run was “peace for the South is peace for Libya”
On the first day of his epic journey, Busayri ran close to the very problem that he was protesting. He passed near fighting in Obari as the Qatari-brokered ceasefire between Tebu and Tuaregs broke down. [/restrict]
