Benghazi, 1 May 2015:
Three members of the Libyan Red Crescent died today and seven were injured when a mortar . . .[restrict]smashed into their building in Benghazi.
The dead included an ambulance driver. The blast at the 191 Field Station of 20th Street, also damaged at least one ambulance. The single round was alleged to have been fired from positions in Sabri that are still held by Ansar Al-Sharia. In recent weeks there has been a series of mortar attacks apparently fired at random toward civilian areas of the city now controlled by the army.
The dead have been named as Anas Ahamroh, Farouq Jalali and Mohammed Awami. Those injured are Saleh Ashtoi Hamad, Najm Deen Sadeq Moftah, Jweideh Salem Morghreb, Ali Tagouri, Suleiman Ali Awad, Wanees Ali Awad and Amraja Amgeor Ramadan.
