Malta, 6 February 2015:
Amman bank announced today that its . . .[restrict]main Gurji Road branch in Tripoli will resume full operations as of next Sunday 8 February after the resolution of the problem of security.
In its statement, Aman bank, partly owned by the Portuguese BES, said that thanks to GNC Finance Committee helping it to organize security, it can resume its banking services.
Amman bank at Gurji has been open, but has not been providing its customers with much service over the last week due to employees refusing to turn up to work as a result of alleged coercion by militias.
The bank assured its customers that services continue to be provided in its other branches.
