Turkish construction company AMR expressed their desire to resume their projects in the city of . . .[restrict]Tobruk, Bawabat Al-Wast reports.
AMR has a contract for utilities infrastructure work in Tobruk with Libya’s Housing and Infrastructure Board (HIB), an implementation arm of the Ministry of Housing
The HIB’s Manager in Tobruk, Taher Al-Tayib, said that the meeting in Tobruk with AMR discussed a number of issues, including the process of payment for the Turkish company’s outstanding debts.
The clearance from Benghazi port of goods for AMR’s projects stalled for a number of months there, was also discussed.
Tayib said that both parties agreed to hold a second meeting at the end of February to review progress. [/restrict]
