The Minister of Economy and Trade, Suhail Abu Shiha, discussed with the Chairman of Libya Post, Sami Al-Sayeh, the mechanisms of launching the digital postal address project for companies, as part of the Ministry's efforts to regulate the market and promote digital transformation.

The two discussed linking the project to the Commercial Registry and Company Registration Systems, with the aim of giving each company a unified and approved digital postal address that links it to its physical location, which contributes to improving the accuracy of commercial data and enhancing the reliability of national databases.

Participants stressed the importance of the project in supporting market regulation and facilitating governmental, banking and logistics services, in addition to promoting e-commerce and improving the efficiency of supply chains.
