Tripoli, 18 July 2014:
Air Malta has said that that it is not planning to restart flights to Libya . . .[restrict]for at least another four weeks – until 15 August.
If Tripoli airport were reopened by then, an Air Malta official told the Libya Herald, the situation would be assessed to see that it was secure. There could, however, be an earlier reassessment if the airport were deemed safe, he added.
In the meantime, Air Malta says it is giving full refunds on tickets issued for flights to and from Tripoli or making bookings for later dates. [/restrict]
