Tripoli, 14 May 2014:
Deputy Prime Minister for Technical Affairs Abdul Salam Al-Gadi met with the Director of Roads and Bridges yesterday to discuss the state of the aging infrastructure across Libya and specifically in Tripoli.
They particularly discussed the traffic flow problems in the nation’s capital as well as the decision to repair the potholes on damaged roads and to widen some streets by adding extra lanes.
They also talked over the problem of sewage in the streets and determined to set up work stations to keep the drains clean and the water out of the streets, especially during the rainy season, when the roads tend to flood. [/restrict]
