By Houda Mzioudet.

Tripoli, 11 November 2013:

A fight broke out between two Libyans queueing for visas yesterday morning at VFS Global, the . . .[restrict]visa application centre of the Maltese embassy in Tripoli.

It was broken up when security intervened, Maltese ambassador, Mannie Galea told the Libya Herald. The pair, who apparently already knew each other, were standing in a queue waiting to apply for visa to Malta when a dispute turned violent.

“VFS Global, the company that Maltese embassy is contracting to issue visas on its behalf, has filed a police complaint about the incident,” Galea said.
