Tripoli, 14 October 2013:
The coach for Tripoli’s Al-Ahly football club, Hossam Al Badri, escaped unhurt after gunmen opened . . .[restrict]fire on his car on Saturday.
The Egyptian coach was not injured in the attack but was shaken up and upset, according to the club’s manager Mohamed Balta. The incident occurred after Al-Ahly drew 1-1 against Al Suwaihli club in a league match.
Badri was either shot at whilst driving home or at his home, according to differing reports in the local media. The gunfire is said to have come from a car carrying three men.
Badri has been coaching Al-Ahly since May. [/restrict]
