By Ashraf Abdul-Wahab.

Tripoli, 2 October 2013:

A group of locals attacked and torched the police station in Suq Al-Juma yesterday following the . . .[restrict]death of local resident.

The man, who has not been named, was shot dead by the Quwat Al-Rada, the special deterence force in Tripoli. It claims the man, originally from Ajilat, southwest of Sabratha, was drunk and resisted arrest.

Family and friends of the dead man went to Tripoli Central Hospital where his body had been taken and, for a while, blocked the main entrance. They then went back to Suq Al-Juma to protest at the police station.
