Supported by the Ministry of Oil and Gas and the National Oil Corporation, the organisers say they are hoping for a repeat of this year’s show, which drew 3,000 oil industry professionals to visit the 120 exhibitors from 18 countries.
The principal participants this May were the French led by Total, the Turks headed by the Turkish Petroleum Corporation and the Chinese, fronted by China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation.
According to Montgomery Libya, who stage the event, this year, 90 percent of exhibitors met their participation objectives and plan to return for Oil and Gas Libya 2014, which will be held between 12-15 May, once more at the Tripoli International Fairground.
