Benghazi, 30 July 2013:
A number of mental health patients have escaped from the psychiatric wing of a Benghazi hospital.
The patients made . . .[restrict]their escape when armed men broke into a secure ward of the city’s Al-Hawri hospital to carry out a revenge killing. One man was shot dead.
People reportedly fled from the building in fear and panic, and it is believed that some fifteen patients escaped.
Hospital staff had previously complained of substandard security on the premises. [/restrict]
