Tripoli, 9 October:
The General Electricity Company will be cutting the power supply to Zuwara, Rigdaleen and Al-Jmail next Tuesday, so . . .[restrict]it can undertake essential works.
The company’s Information Office manager, Lutfi Goma said the maintenance and improvement would give consumers a better power supply.
Guma explained that installation works in Al-Jmail, to connect new transmission lines to its power station, meant that power would have to be turned off for some hours. Cuts were therefore inevitable in the town itself and its two neighbours Zuwara and Rigdaleen.
