A military delegation led by the Chief of Staff, Yusuf Mangoush, held talks in Ankara on Monday with their . . .[restrict]Turkish counterparts. The delegation was welcomed to the headquarters of the Turkish armed forces by the Turkish top military commander, General Necdet Ozel.
The Turkish and Libyan sides, according to Turkey’s Cihan news agency, discussed a number of areas for of common interest and agreement was reached to develop joint cooperation between the two countries in the military and security domain.
The Turkish security directorate already runs training programmes for the Libyan police forces which include rapid intervention technics, public security and how to handle riots. [/restrict]
