Benghazi, 23 April:
The Benghazi headquarters of Libya’s largest oil company, Agoco (Arabian Gulf Oil Company), were blocked by a group of . . .[restrict]about 50 protesters today, Monday, demanding more help of young people to find jobs and more information from the government how it spends the country’s money. Employees were unable to enter the buildings.
The protestors, some of whom claimed to have fought as revolutionaries last year, also demanded that officials appointed during the Qaddafi era be sacked.
They said that they had chosen to protest outside Agoco to force the attention of the NTC and the government to their demands.
The protest did not affect Agoco activities elsewhere in the country. [/restrict]
