The Minister of Communications and New Technology Anwar Fitouri has instructed the state-owned Post, Communications and Information Technology Company and its subsidiaries to look into . . .[restrict]telephone and internet  charges in Libya.  He wants them to be at levels similar to elsewhere in the world.  He has asked the company to make a comparative study.

The ministry says the aim is to make costs more affordable for users, both public and private, as well as improve services and ensure that IT and telecommunications companies in Libya perform much better. [/restrict]
