The British Middle East Association (MEA), supported by the United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI) is . . .[restrict]to lead a trade delegation to Tripoli from 3-8 March, 2013.
The delegation consists of 16 companies in the engineering, education/training, security, pesticide, safety, consultancy, publishing, electrical, communications, banking/finance, recruitment, laboratory equipment, radio communications, and water/wastewater sectors.
The MEA last led a 22 strong trade mission to Tripoli in December, which included the surprise visit by veteran British cabinet minister Ken Clark.
Clark had emphasized that Britain wanted to get involved in the reconstruction of Libya.
