Jalu revolutionaries apply to join SSC

Tripoli, 10 May:

The supreme security committee in Al-Wahat area has said that it is still receiving requests from revolutionaries in  of . . .[restrict]the town of Jalu, Jakhura and Awjila wishing to join it.  It says that works are still being carried out to complete the procedures so that the applicants can be transferred to the Ministry of Interior.

Last week, the Jalu Martyrs’ Battalion held a ceremony to honor those from the region who died fighting in the 17 February revolution. It was attended by members of local council and the local military council as well as thuwar security formations and area dignitaries, plus a large crowd of Jalu residents.
