Benghazi, 19 October 2013:
A women’s perfume and cosmetics shop in Benghazi’s Dubai Street was badly damaged in an RPG . . .[restrict]attack early this morning, at around 4.40 am.
It is not known whether the attack on the shop, Morena, was the result of a property dispute, rivalry with other store owners or action by militants. In June last year, a women’s beauty parlour was attacked, allegedly by Islamists, in a drive-by shooting.There was much activity involving Islamists in Benghazi yesterday.
The owner of the shop says he does not know why it was targeted.
