During Minister of Transport Mohamed Al-Shahoubi’s meeting with the Ambassador of Serbia, Dragan Todorović, at the Ministry’s Tripoli headquarters last Monday (11 May), Shahoubi praised the relations between the two countries and the developments that have taken place.
These developments had followed on from the visit of the Tripoli based Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs to Serbia, which opened avenues for cooperation for Serbian investors, the Minister said.
The Ambassador, the Ministry reported, confirmed the scheduled visit of the Serbian Minister of Trade to Libya at the end of June 2026.
The meeting also addressed facilitating visa procedures for Libyans and discussed the resumption of flights between the two countries, in coordination with the Civil Aviation Authority, to develop an operational plan between the Libyan and Serbian sides.
