The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Health reported yesterday that, through Al-Hadba Al-Khadra General Hospital in Tripoli, and in cooperation with the Emergency Medicine and Support Centre, it had conducted a field exercise simulating the air transport of a critical emergency case to the hospital.

The exercise aimed to test the readiness of trained medical and ambulance teams, particularly during peak times.

The training included simulating the arrival of the patient via the Air Ambulance, their transfer to the specialized medical team at the hospital, and the implementation of necessary medical procedures according to the highest safety standards and rapid response protocols.

This exercise aims to enhance coordination between the Air Ambulance service and emergency teams, improve the efficiency of field response, and ensure full readiness to handle emergency and critical cases under various circumstances, thus contributing to the provision of effective and safe ambulance services to citizens.
