Waha Oil Company announced yesterday that it has completed drilling its first horizontal well in the geological formation of the Q123H Bayda oil reservoir, using the latest directional drilling technologies. The well achieved an initial flow rate of 1,000 barrels of oil per day.
Waha said this achievement, a result of the National Oil Corporation’s strategic plan, is an important step toward enhancing the company’s production capacity, consolidating Libya’s position in the energy sector at the regional and international levels.
