The first edition of the Libya Clean exhibition for environment and cleaning services was opened Monday, at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. The organisers reported that 63 companies participated of 63 and several associations and charitable organizations specialized in the environment and hygiene.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Environment, Ibrahim Al-Arabi Al-Munir, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Trade, Nouri Al-Gatati, and Issam Al-Aoul, Chairman of the General Authority for Exhibitions and Mayor of the Municipality of Tripoli Central, Ibrahim Al-Khulaifi.
The four-day exhibition is considered by the organisers the first exhibition of its kind in Libya. The activities accompanying the exhibition address topics of sustainable development, environmental awareness, creating opportunities for investors, manufacturers and suppliers, interest in and support for the manufacture of detergents and disinfectants, shifting to benefit from renewable energy, creating environmentally friendly projects, promoting smart cleaning programmes and promoting them in the Libyan market.
