Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company reported today that it succeeded in operating its industrial waste homogenization mixers.

This enables the mixing of polluted water to the stage of homogenization and the expulsion of harmful gases to facilitate the final treatment process.

It comes within the framework of developing the company’s environmental performance and preserving the surrounding environment from hazardous pollutants resulting from operations.

In an exclusive statement to Libya Herald, Shaaban Youssef Bsibu, Chairman of Ras Lanuf Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company, said the importance of this work lies in helping to expel harmful gases to facilitate the final treatment process, which is considered one of the most important processes that contribute to the continuation of operations within the industrial complex.

He added that, in cooperation with Al-Zawia Oil Refining Company, maintenance work was carried out on the gas detection system in the ethylene plant. The company also carried out a project to maintain and restore the sea water line feeding the industrial complex, which is about 1,600 meters long, as the importance of this project lies in maintaining the flow of water for the next phase of operations.
