Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) announced Sunday that it has launched its data hosting centre at the end of final trials. This includes completing the connection of more than 40,000 thousand meters of the optical fibre network.

Aladdin Baba, the Official Spokesperson for the MFZ, said in an exclusive interview with Libya Herald that all supplies and installations for the data centre have been completed. He pointed out that the completed fibre optic network connection to investment site “A” has a network design that guarantees reliability and safety and permanent connection.

These services include:

  • Providing RACKS for investors’ network equipment.
  • Linking the different investor locations inside and outside the MFZ at high speeds.

  • Providing cloud storage.
  • Adding other services according to work and project requirements.

Baba stated that the data centre, which is supervised by the MFZ Information Technology Department, has taken into account many specifications and standards to meet all requirements.
