It added that this advanced health system aims to link all public health institutions into a unified system and link all patients’ data to a unified electronic health file, whose identification base would be the National ID Number and the patient’s personal file.
Linked to all institutions, the system would also include the concept of disseminating and exchanging medical information and experiences between specialists in the field, the field of educational awareness, the field of managing personnel affairs in the sector, and managing the public health sector with its various health services at the national level.
Among the most important features of the system, the Ministry explained, is the shortening of time and effort, protection of patient privacy, comprehensive solidarity for all sectors, facilitating communication, cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experiences between the personnel working in the sector.
Health Minister Zanati said, “We have to keep pace with the development in the health system, which guarantees the safety of patients and improves the quality of services’’.
