The General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences reported yesterday that it is overseeing preparations for Libya’s participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade through a delegation attending the Technical Preparatory Meeting (TPM), held in the Serbian capital from October 1 to 3.

The Authority’s delegation held technical meetings with engineers, technicians, and event organizers to discuss procedures regarding the Libyan pavilion. They reviewed technical and implementation requirements, as well as the approved specifications for the pavilion's design and construction, ensuring alignment with established technical standards.

The delegation also conducted site visits to the Expo Village and associated complex facilities to inspect accommodation, services, and amenities designated for participating delegations, and to familiarize themselves with the event's operational arrangements.

The preparatory meeting brings together over 250 representatives from 43 countries to discuss technical and operational aspects—including the setup of national pavilions, programming, events, and logistics—in preparation for the launch of Expo 2027 Belgrade on May 15, 2027.
