As part of efforts to strengthen international partnerships and elevate ground handling service standards, the Libyan Ground Services Company (LGSC) welcomed a delegation from the Italian airline Aeroitalia to Mitiga International Airport yesterday.
Aeroitalia is the partner of Libyan Express which has recently launched direct charter flights to Malta, Milano and Rome.
The visit aimed to conduct an audit and review of the station's operational services and procedures.
This visit is part of an ongoing process to evaluate performance and enhance standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency, ensuring alignment with the requirements of international airlines and recognized professional standards.
The audit process was conducted with the presence and oversight of the Tripoli Operations Department Manager, the Quality Office Manager, and various managers from relevant offices and departments, with full support and cooperation extended to the delegation.
LGSC reaffirmed its commitment to improving performance, enhancing station readiness, and bolstering the confidence of its international partners, thereby solidifying its position as a trusted partner in the ground handling sector.
The company also extends its thanks and appreciation to the Aeroitalia delegation for their visit and cooperation, looking forward to further developing the partnership to serve mutual interests.
