Julyana Free Zone revealed today that during the month of September, 94 ships loaded with various goods docked at its port, as follows:

- 40 container ship

- 14 fuel tankers

- 9 ships loaded with cement

- 3 passenger ships

- 3 ships carrying asphalt

- 6 ships carrying general cargo, including parcels, machinery, etc

- 6 transit cargo ships

- 3 ships loaded with cars

- 6 ships carrying bulk grains of wheat and barley

- 1 ship loaded with sugar.

- 2 ships with empty containers

- 1 ship docked to refuel.

Julyana Free Zone said two German-made (STS) ground cranes were used to unload the container ships and transport them from the ships to the dock. They are considered one of the latest in modern port technology and have a high ability to handle heavy loads, as the maximum lifting capacity of each of them reaches 81 tons, and their productivity reaches 40 containers per hour.

The port also has 5 Liebherr cranes that work to unload commercial ships, so that all 7 cranes are operating with high efficiency, 24 hours a day.

Four RTG cranes operate inside the storage yards, which are machines designated for handling and stacking containers.

As for unloading grain ships, two “Nero” and “Vegan” grain suction machines operate with a suction capacity of 300 tons per hour, in addition to many scoop machines.
