The Libyan Businessmen Council (LBC) announced today that its Libyan Indonesian Council—in coordination with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia—plan to organize the Libyan Indonesian Business Forum in Jakarta on 18 October.
The LBC says this comes as part of its efforts to strengthen trade relations between the Libyan and Indonesian private sectors and to open direct channels for Libyan companies to access the Indonesian market.
The forum will take place concurrently with "Trade Expo Indonesia 2026" (scheduled for 14–18 October). This event is Indonesia’s largest multi-sector, export-oriented trade exhibition, featuring broad participation from international companies, manufacturers, and buyers.
Participation in the forum and the exhibition offers Libyan businesspeople and company representatives the following opportunities:
• Connecting with export-oriented Indonesian companies and manufacturers.
• Holding direct business meetings and exploring supply and partnership opportunities.
• Viewing a diverse range of products and sectors, including food, agricultural products, manufacturing, industrial goods, furniture, fashion, handicrafts, and consumer products.
• Gaining direct insight into trade opportunities with the Indonesian market.
• Building business relationships with Indonesian companies interested in the Libyan market.
