The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Water Resources reported yesterday that its Minister Hosni Oweidan, met with representatives from the French company MAC3 to discuss cooperation regarding the use of air compressor technologies in water well drilling, completion, development, and pumping tests.
The discussion also explored the potential application of these technologies in technical operations undertaken by the Water Desalination Company and the General Company for Water and Wastewater.
The Ministry reported that MAC3 representatives presented an overview of their technologies and products—specifically air compressors and pneumatic equipment—as well as the training, maintenance, and technical support services they provide.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to hold an expanded meeting involving companies and agencies affiliated with the sector to examine the technical applications of these technologies and identify how they can be utilized in the execution of water resource sector projects and operations.
