China’s Ambassador to Libya, Ma Xu liang reported yesterday that, from 3 to 23 July, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Libya, the Children's Hospital of Hunan Province, China invited 25 male and female doctors from Libya to participate in a training course in paediatric techniques that lasted for 3 weeks.
The Ambassador commented that ‘‘Through this training course, the 25 Libyan trainees not only improved their comprehensive paediatric skills but also learned about ancient Chinese cultural traditions such as the art of tea preparation and calligraphy.
I am confident that, after their return to the country, they will certainly be able to benefit from what they learned in China to provide better medical services to Libyan children and contribute to enhancing friendly exchange between the two countries.’’
