Dahra oilfield pipeline catches fire

Waha Oil Company announced today that it had successfully completed the drilling, testing, and commissioning of gas wells BB19 and BB20 in the Faragh Field.

Waha said this comes in line with the National Oil Corporation’s directives aimed at increasing production rates, enabling it to continue to achieve tangible results thanks to the combined efforts of its technical and service personnel.

Specifically, this comes as part of the plan to increase natural gas production capacity at the Al-Faragh Field – Phase Two, and in accordance with the approved 2025 development drilling programme prepared by the Reservoir Engineering Department. Waha said this was achieved while adhering to the highest technical standards and utilizing the latest drilling and completion technologies.

Waha reported that well BB19 recorded a daily production rate of 14 million cubic feet of gas, along with 770 barrels of condensate, while well BB20 produced approximately 12 million cubic feet of gas and 840 barrels of condensate, using a 64/32 production choke.

Waha Oil Company acknowledged the continued support of the National Oil Corporation for being instrumental in achieving these positive results.
