Waha Oil completes drilling of new horizontal well B222H-59W at Daffah Station yielding 4,100 bpd

Dahra oilfield pipeline catches fire

Waha Oil Company announced yesterday that it has successfully completed the drilling and completion of the new horizontal well B222H-59W at Daffah Station with an initial production capacity of approximately 4,100 barrels per day.

Waha said this marks a significant engineering milestone which highlights the company’s technical excellence and operational efficiency.

It said the achievement reflects the concerted efforts of Waha’s technical teams, who deployed state-of-the-art technologies in horizontal drilling. It also underscores the vital role of the Management Committee in overcoming operational challenges, supporting field crews, and ensuring streamlined procedures.

It also reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to delivering on the National Oil Corporation’s strategy and objectives to increase production capacity, thereby contributing to the growth and sustainability of the national economy.
