Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported today that Richard Ward, Deputy CEO of U.S. oil services company, Weatherford, announced its return to work in Libya after a hiatus of more than ten years, expressing a real desire to resume its work of providing services to Libyan oil companies.
The announcement came during a meeting on the same day by Ward with the Chairman of the NOC at its Tripoli headquarters.
During the meeting, the NOC reported, Ward explained that the company has already started its work, from its new headquarters in Hay Al-Andalus in Tripoli, stressing its readiness to provide all its services from the field work site in the Jalo 59 field.
