Minister of Housing discusses with Jordanian delegation partnership opportunities in chemical and construction industries‎

Ministry of Housing in discussions with Ernst & Young in London

The Tripoli based Minister of Housing and Construction, Abu Baker Al-Ghawi, met yesterday with a high-level Jordanian economic delegation, on the sidelines of the 2025 Tripoli International Fair, and in the presence of the President of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mohamed Al-Raied.‎

The Ministry said the meeting comes within the framework of enhancing economic and investment cooperation between Libya and Jordan.

‎The Jordanian delegation included representatives of Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Industry, Vice President of the Chamber, as well as a group of Jordanian businessmen.‎

‎The ministry reported that the talks dealt with ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in vital sectors, including chemicals used in the concrete industry, the field of gas, in addition to materials used in waterproofing and thermal insulation.‎

‎The discussion focused in particular on the possibility of establishing strategic partnerships in the field of chemical industries related to waterproofing and concrete, as well as the chemical industries involved in the construction sector in general, in order to serve the interests of the two countries and enhance their industrial capabilities.‎
