The Attorney General’s Office reported last Friday (11 April) that Tripoli Criminal Court issued a ruling convicting a former Finance Director at the Real Estate Investment Company to three years imprisonment for corruption.
The Anti-Corruption Prosecution, within the jurisdiction of the Tripoli Court of Appeal, examined the case of the destruction of the company’s financial documents and the seizure of movable property, including three motor vehicles and the company’s power generation equipment.
The Public Prosecution brought a case against the head of the financial department before the Tripoli Criminal Court, which ruled in its final session to sentence him to three years in prison and to return the proceeds of the crime.
