The Attorney General’s Office reported yesterday that Tripoli Criminal Court convicted six National Commercial Bank (NCB) employees of a LD one million fraud.
The Attorney General’s Office revealed that the Public Prosecution filed a public lawsuit against six employees who were authorized to conduct banking operations related to an amount of LD 1, 000,017 that enabled a seventh female employee to seize the amount,
Subsequently, the Tripoli Criminal Court convicted the accused, imposing a prison sentence of three years on five of them, depriving them of their civil rights, and inflicting the sixth convict with imprisonment for two years with labour, and obliging each of the convicts to pay LD 336,035.
