Tatweer Research develops dashboard for Planning Ministry to manage development projects

Libya’s Tatweer Research, which implements many projects for international NGOs, announced today the launch of the AgroLEAP project.

The project provides a comprehensive programme of economic support and empowerment for the agricultural sector in Libya’s southern region.

‎AgroLEAP is part of the wider Aqfuz / LEAP (Libyan Economic Acceleration Project) project which provides a comprehensive programme of general economic support and empowerment for the Fezzan region.‎

LEAP is funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

AgroLEAP
Tatweer Research said AgroLEAP aims to enable farmers, who rely on the traditional electricity grid, to learn about the benefits of solar energy to achieve energy sufficiency and sustainability. This involves a group of experts and energy suppliers offering their services to farmers and providing personal consultations, to facilitate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and to strengthen partnerships between farmers and solar energy providers.
