The EU in Libya reported today that EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, held a meeting with the Tripoli based Libyan government to discuss the next Cooperation Package.
”I had a very productive meeting today with H.E. Minister Adel Jumaa and H.E. Minister Badreddine Toumi, and my team joined us. We have officially launched consultations on the 2025-2027 Cooperation Package with the EU, with a focus on governance and decentralization, economic diversification and digitalization, and preparedness for energy and climate challenges.
We have taken note of a lot of work ahead of us, but there is great consensus and common momentum that we can build on.”, Orlando stated on his X / Twitter account.
